Glorifying God comes first. We aren't here looking for a spiritual handout, instead, we recognize that God is sovereign (in charge) and we want our desires and dreams to fall in line with His. He is always going to have a better plan than anything we can scrape together.
We also have 3 words that describe how we grow to glorify Him: Connect / Commit / Communicate
Connect to Jesus Christ through a personal decision to make him both Lord and Savior of your life. (John 14:6)
Commit to the church, the body of Christ, by (1)becoming part of an Adult Bible Fellowship (Sunday school), any offered Bible studies, personal Bible study, and by (2) becoming a server on a ministry team. (Ephesians 4:16)
Communicate your faith through word and deed. (Matthew 28:19-20)
