Sharon is secretary, office assistant, gopher, or whatever you would like to call her. She came to Shively Christian Church in 1984 and joined in 1985. When she was laid off from Enro Shirt Company Credit Union she volunteered in the church office every Friday. It wasn’t long until she was offered a paid position. She really enjoys interacting with the members, and working with the staff.
Sharon is married to Melvin. And guess where they met? At church, when they were young children. They have one grown son, Rob, who’s married to Rhonda and three grandchildren.
Sharon loves to read mysteries, biographies, and Christian books. She loves to go to the movies on Friday nights with her mom and sister, B.J. Her two favorite hobbies are crocheting and counted cross-stitching. Her passion in ministry is greeting on Sunday mornings and singing on the worship team.
