Shively Christian Church

J.O.Y. Ministry provides Christ-centered activities addressing the spiritual, educational and social needs of senior adults, ages 55 and above.  The purpose of J.O.Y Ministry is to provide wonderful Christian fellowship, encouragement, friendship, compassion and outreach to Senior Adults in the church, their friends, and neighbors in the Shively and Louisville area.

May 12 - Tour of Historic Hanson, KY (Near Madisonville)

 

May 23-27 - Senior Saints in the Smokies (Johnson Bible College) Knoxville, TN

 

June 2-6 - Coach Tour of Washington D.C.

July 7 - A Day @ North American Christian Convention in Cincinnati - Dave Stone, speaker - tour all exhibits

 

July 14 - Schmidt Museum of Coca-cola & Antique Car Museum in Elizabethtown

 

August 11 - Kentucky Show & Center of the Performing Arts tour

September 8 - Brown County, Indiana & the Antiques of Story, Indiana

 

October 1 - Senior Retreat @ White Mills Camp

 

October 10-14 - Grundy Mountain Mission Work Trip - Grundy, VA

 

November 10 - Deliver Thanksgiving Fruit Baskets to Shut-in's & Health Care Residents

 

December 8 - Christmas Dinner @ Tony York's in Glendale & tour of Christmas Lake in Elizabethtown, KY
